Mayo Petranin: "Blind Guardian has had a big influence
on me as well as on the whole band since the very beginning of
our musical experience. They contributed to the formation of our
style, melodic expression and (without any copying or plagiarism)
they taught us a lot in field of composition. We really like all
the BG stuff and in fact we enjoy playing some of their tunes.
The song we have chosen, The Last Candle is a typical example
of the early BG, and we think it proves well what has been said
before - undoubtedly it is a part of our musical formation. The
participation on the BG tribute CD is a kind of manifestation
of our regard and attitude for showing us the way through our
musical development."
